In all these things, our focus isn’t meant for the ugly, but it’s what God is bringing to our table in the midst of it all. The beauty that He is exemplifying in us.

As long as we believe that walking with Jesus is about appointments and not friendship, love, admiration and fun, we will continue to miss out on the fruit of a nourished heart.

Seeking the truth is what keeps the enemy at bay from our shores of God’s reality.

One extraordinarily beautiful thing about this relationship we have, is that it’s not something we have to lord over. It’s not something we have to hold the threads to, hoping that our grasp doesn’t fail us.

You see, concealment from the Father is beauty and enchantment.

When His life is our major seal and accreditation, we walk in a prominence that speaks aloud the good things of the present and the good things of where our life is going.

The people that God used to orchestrate His son’s coming are closely related to us. They were people who, served, who worked, who had parents, who had long-standing struggles; people who were married and people who were alone after their spouses death… and there were people who wanted to be married. There were people who had unanswered revelations and prayers, and people who were stubborn, yet hopeful.

Mary, Joseph, Elizabeth, Zechariah, Simeon, Anna, and many others were all like us in some way.

We are connected with a God who desires us. Not a God who demands of us.

The church doesn’t have to be a lonely place, it really doesn’t.
